Our 2025 yarn is here!

This year's yarn is produced exclusively from each of our own alpacas.

Because of this, our inventory is available in limited quantities that vary year to year.

For example,

In 2025, we processed 7 fleeces out of 14 alpacas.

In 2026, we expect to process all 14 fleeces.

Our process:

The alpacas spend an entire year growing the fleece right here on the farm.

We shear our alpacas in late spring, and then we spend the summer skirting (removing vegetable matter, guard hair, short fleece, and dirt) and preparing each fleece by hand, on-site, to ensure our yarn is uniform and meets our high-quality standards before shipping to our partner spinning mill to process into our 100% alpaca yarn.

Ready to order?

If you love yarn, you'll enjoy working with and wearing our alpacas' yarn. It's soft and squishy, feels luxurious against your skin, is hypoallergenic, and will not pill.

Alpaca is lightweight compared to wool and synthetic yarns, but don't let that lead you to think it won't be warm.

Alpaca is surprisingly comfortable and insulating, yet you won't overheat.

Alpaca is also naturally wicking, odor, water, and flame-retardant.

Make your next gorgeous creation with alpaca.

Need inspiration? With your order, we'll include a free knitting or crochet hat pattern that you can make with one* skein of our yarn (*subject to the size you make).

Simply tell us in the notes during checkout which pattern you prefer.
