She has a beautiful thick and long, light brown coat that is as warm and cozy as it looks. She is our #2 farm ambassador (second only because Stormy will beat her to the fence) to greet you. She was very shy when she first arrived, but her personality has blossomed as we've gotten to know her. Always up for a snack, Lady has turned into an adventurous eater. During the first several months on our farm, she had no interest in treats of any kind (beyond her normal grain and hay regimen); but once she realized that other members of the herd were happily eating carrots, she finally dared to try one and her world changed in an instant. Not only does she love carrots, but is now the first to try a new treat (i.e., grape, orange, banana, etc.) that we offer. While it seems insignificant, trying that first carrot opened a door of trust for Lady demonstrating that we love her and she had no reason to be shy or fearful with us.
