Razzie joined our farm early on in our alpaca farming adventure. In 2015, when we learned she was available, we only knew she was "a very shy girl." We asked to see a photo of her and that was all it took -- we fell in love with her.
She turned 16 years old in June, but you wouldn't know it. She doesn't have a single gray hair (except for her tail, but you didn't hear it from me). The rest of her fleece is midnight black, silky soft, and fine to the touch, and so is her yarn. This is a tribute to the strong genetics passed down to her.
When you visit the farm, Razzie is not one of the first you'll meet at the gate because she prefers to be with her friends, but we do have a secret weapon that usually wins her over. We keep a supply of her favorite "cookies" on hand that are difficult for her to resist.
